Our Cottage, Atrium, and Studio carry a stunning collection of houseplants, succulents, air plants, and more, from tiny to large!  Whether you are an experienced plant parent looking to expand your collection with unique specimens, or you're just getting into caring for houseplants and are hoping to find something that's low-maintenance, we can help you find the perfect plant match! Together with containers of all sizes, colors, and textures, you can bring plants into any space with style!

We’re looking for passionate garden lovers who enjoy plants and people! We have a number of part-time positions opening up in March, and whether you're an experienced gardener or just love being surrounded by green growing things, we want to hear from you! We're hiring for the following nursery positions:


Nursery Assistant – Opening (3 positions)

  • Sunday – Tuesday 8:30am-1:30pm (2 positions)
  • Wednesday –Saturday 8:30am-1:30pm (1 position)

Nursery Assistant - Closing (2 positions)

  • Sunday – Tuesday 1:00pm- 5/6:00pm (1 position)
  • Wednesday-Saturday 1:00pm-5/6:00pm (1 position)


Specialty Sales-Closing (1 position)

  • Wednesday-Saturday 11am-5:00/6:00pm

Custom Containers

We adore designing containers, and we'd love to help you create yours! If you'd like help designing and planting your containers, we're here to add the Madeline George touch to your garden! 


If you have specific ideas of colors, plants, etc., you can download our handy planning sheet at the link below. Then, bring it in to the nursery, and we'll get to work creating your dream containers.

WE OFFER CUSTOM CLASSES, TOO!

Gather a few friends, neighbors, or family members (4-12 people) to bond over learning about and creating something green. We'll host your choice of class topic on a day you choose.  BYO refreshments and make it a party!

Class fee ranges from $30-$60 depending on chosen theme.

PLAN YOUR NEXT EVENT HERE! 


Here at Madeline George, we offer a number of event-related gathering spaces including:

  • Custom Classes (20 people or less).  Host a custom class for any group of 4-20 people. Grab a few friends, choose a topic, and create something beautiful! Groups have made custom terrariums, festive centerpieces, holiday wreaths, and more. This is a great way to gather with friends and family over the holidays or at any time.
  • Small Private Gatherings (20 people or less, during open hours).  We are currently updating our event venue guidelines and fee structure to better meet your needs.  We expect to have that completed and posted by November 1, 2025.
  • Private Gatherings (20 to 100 people, after the nursery closes).  We are currently updating our event venue guidelines and fee structure to better meet your needs.  We expect to have that completed and posted by November 1, 2025.
